EEG Tech, Neuro-Diagnostic Lab - 24 day

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist is responsible for performing EEGs and EPs on pediatric, adolescent and adult patients.
Testing environments include inpatient floors, neurodiagnostic outpatient department, emergency department and operating room.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Schedules and confirms appointments and bills these completed procedures through HIS.
Takes an accurate patient history from patient, or chart, making sure to always use 2 identifiers.
Performs studies in accordance with ABRET standards.
Performs studies in such a way that ensures efficient operation of the department.
Maintains a clean work area and proper equipment maintenance.
Demonstrates a clear ability to identify abnormal findings.
Notifies ordering physician or surgeon of these abnormal findings.
Maintains an accurate log of all patient with an identifying # Transmits / prepares recordings to a reading station or to be read, and later archives said studies.
Maintains records, statistical data, files, equipment and orders supplies as necessary.
Copies, files and forwards the completed studies / reports to the ordering and primary MDs.
Required Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types and ages.
Problem solving and deductive reasoning skills needed.
Excellent verbal skills needed to explain testing and directions clearly and accurately.
Graduate of accredited EEG program.
Current BLS certification.
Preferred Associates Degree in EEG Technology.
ABRET registration preferred Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Deductive Reasoning Maintenance Medical Emergency Problem Solving Testing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
